My Approach

My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a research-backed approach that helps people clarify what genuinely matters to them and build a life around those values, rather than spending energy fighting thoughts and feelings they can't control.

Sessions with me tend to feel like an honest, unhurried conversation. I'm warm, but I won't dance around the hard stuff. If something important comes up, I'll name it. Most of our time together will be you talking and me listening closely, then asking the questions that help you see your situation more clearly.

I work best with people who are genuinely ready to engage with the process. Therapy isn't something I do to you. It's something we do together. If you're willing to show up and do the work, I'll meet you there every step of the way.

Background & Training

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling from National University in San Diego, California. After completing my degree, I relocated to Chicago with my family and completed my supervised clinical hours at the Chicago Center for Relational Counseling (CCRC), where I worked with individuals and couples across a range of presenting concerns.

I am licensed as a therapist in the state of Illinois and see clients exclusively via telehealth, which means I can work with anyone in Illinois, wherever they are.

Why This Work

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the business world, working for Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and running my own business. That experience gave me a real understanding of the pressures that come with high performance, career transitions, and the kind of stress that's easy to normalize but hard to carry.

Somewhere in that season of life, I became deeply interested in what actually helps people change, not just cope, but genuinely move forward. That curiosity led me to pursue a graduate degree in counseling and eventually to build a practice around the kinds of challenges I've seen people struggle with most.

I believe most people already have the inner resources they need. They just need the right space to access them. That's what I try to create in every session.
